A few years back, I was diagnosed with Degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia. Being a mother of two yourng children, I felt like I was not going to be able to participate in activities with them, subjugated to the sidelines: a spectator of my own life. I went through various pain management regiments with none giving me relief. Surgery, an option I did not want to have to consider, looked to be my chance and that was only 50/50. Then came along Diane. Weekly sessions gradually brought me out of my misery. Within just a few months, the pain that would keep me condined to bed for days at a time, was practically gone. I still suffer from occasional flare ups, but even those are now few and far between and with less intensity. Because of Diane, I have been able to gain control of my pain. I play sports with my children and even returned to college and am now in the Master's program. With out Diane, I would not have been able to live the life that seemed to have disappeared behind a fog of agony only a few years ago.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that during one of my massage sessions you noticed a spot on my back. The spot ended up being a form of skin cancer. If you had not found it when you did, it would have spread further. My doctor told me that people usually did not find these things until it has really spread, so I am grateful that you found it when you did.

I wanted to thank you for helping me with my shoulder pain. Last week, I asked you to concentrate on my shoulders, because of the pain waking me up at night and limiting my daily activities. You asked me to come in three times in one week to relieve the pain. Today, November 15, 2011, is the third visit and I am totally amazed at the results. I can sleep at night and greatly have increased my mobility. I am confident that, with continued work, I will be able to avoid surgery.
